The Club are delighted to announce that the following players have been selected for the South East Hampshire District Training Squads:

Petersfield CC Colts Winter Coaching Sessions

The following arrangements have been made for the colts at The Petersfield School:

U11s: Thursday 10th January 5.00pm – 6.00pm
U13s: Thursday 10th January 6.00pm – 7.00pm
U17s: Thursday 10th January 7.00pm – 8.00pm

Coaching will then continue on the following dates: January 24, January 31, February 7, February 14, February 28, March 6, March 27

U9s: Friday 11th January 5.00pm – 6.30pm
U15s: Friday 11th January 6.30pm – 7.30pm

After the first session, depending upon numbers, we will split one of the age groups into two 1 hour sessions. Coaching will then continue on the following dates: January 25, February 1, February 8, February 15, March 7, March 28

The cost for all the coaching sessions will be £30 for the first child, £20 for the second child in a family and £10 for the third. For those who will definitely be with us in the summer, it really does make our administration easier if you can pay for the whole year. Summer costs will be £45 for the first child, £30 for the second child in a family and £15 for the third.

Each session will be lead by a Level 2 coach and assisted by a Level 1 coach or someone who is currently undergoing their coaching training. Other helpers are very welcome during the sessions so please make yourself known if you are willing.

Towards the end of the winter sessions the club will be holding the following courses:

Cricket Coaching for volunteers - TPS
Introduction to Umpiring – The Pop In Club, Petersfield
Introduction to Scoring – The Pop In Club, Petersfield

This will be to a level where you will be able to be of help during the coaching sessions or assist the managers during matches. The courses will be held in March so please could you let myself, Richard or Don know if you would like to attend.

We welcome anybody who would like to try cricket out for the first time and new players are welcome to a free two week trial to see if they like it. We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
