Fundamental Batting Certificate What is it? We think that it is very important to have the fundamental batting skills required to build an innings. Therefore this season’s initiative is to try and coach every colt in these fundamental skills. If successful the player will be awarded a gold, silver or bronze certificate for their achievement. What do I have to Do? First of all you have to learn the techniques of fundamental batting. You can do this by reading the Coaching sheets or by listening to your coach or manager. You can work on these sheets one step at a time. When you understand what to do on each sheet you need to demonstrate this to your coach or manager either:
Your step by step progress through each of the sheets can be recorded on your own Development Sheet. How do I get a Certificate? If you can demonstrate all the skills to your coach or manager and record them on your development sheet then you will be awarded one of the following certificates: Bronze Certificate: Demonstrating all the skills with a drop ball Good Luck! and don’t forget to ask for help if you don’t understand.
