Petersfield Cricket Club Fun Day and End of Season Presentations

In 2007 Petersfield CC held their annual fun day and presentation on Saturday and were blessed with fine weather. The event was well attended and it gave the chance for the mums and dads to play against their sons and daughters in a series of fun matches. The under 9s and Under 11s played in the morning and this was followed by a close match between the Under 17s and the 3rd XI. The 3rd XI won the toss and made 108-5 in 20 overs helped by contributions from colts, Will Jameson, Matt Salmon and Ed Davenport. The U17s looked like they were on their way to victory at 75-2 off 12 overs thanks to 43 from Fred Patten but some tight bowling a bit of experience kept runs to a minimum and the Under 17s just fell short. The U13s split themselves into a bowling team and batting team and took on the Under 15s and Dads who showed some hidden talent.
